How to deep clean composite decking
So, you’ve had a stunning composite deck installed in your garden and have been getting good use out of it ever since. But now you’ve noticed some dirt that has built up in a few areas and wondering if it requires a deep clean to get rid of?

Power washing your decking
- Before washing your composite deck, brush away leaves and other debris with a broom.
- Use a fan tip nozzle and a suitable cleaning product.
- Do not exceed a maximum pressure of 1500 psi.
- Spray in the same direction as the grain on your boards.
- Follow the recommended safety precautions for your pressure washer.
By following these tips, a simple and quick power wash of your deck is all that’s required for it to be looking brand new once again. No staining, painting or countless hours on your hands and knees scrubbing each board will ever be necessary.
